Our “Friends of the Chesapeake Arboretum” membership year runs from April 1 – March 31, although we happily accept applications year-round! Just click here to download a membership brochure and application form. Mail the application to P.O. Box 16265, Chesapeake VA 23328. Make checks payable to “Chesapeake Arboretum”.
Chesapeake Arboretum volunteers promote horticultural, arboricultural and environmental awareness and maintain more than 3 miles of trails, 10 bridges, a headquarters farmhouse & grounds, and tree propagation nursery. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization coordinated by a volunteer Board of Director with funding from corporate and private sponsorships, donations, grants and annual membership dues. Although our leased 48+/- acre property is owned by the City of Chesapeake, we are not a publicly-maintained park. We challenge you to find a finer volunteer-run Nature’s Classroom anywhere, and we THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!
