Just one exciting element of the City’s March 31, 2012 Arbor Day celebration, which was hosted at our site: Skip Raymo, chain-saw sculptor, transforming what used to be a monster Chestnut Oak — one that seriously damaged Bridge “A” on the southern end of our trails system when it fell during a 2010 storm. Eventually, this depiction of wildlife will grace the entrance to the trails, and will serve as a memorial to honor the late Polly Hoag, mother of Linda Bradley, one of our most active volunteers!
